On Monday, Justin Bieber has posted an emotional essay on Instagram, which reflects his past life, early stardom, bad decisions, and how they affected him.

The “Baby” singer has blamed his past erratic behavior and childhood fame for taking bad decisions. He also revealed how he became one of the most hated people in the world, which resulted in suicidal thoughts. Bieber wrote, “Sometimes it can get to the point where you don’t even want to live anymore.”

Expressing his feeling of dips ointment, Bieber wrote, “You see, I have a lot of money, clothes, cars, accolades, achievements, awards and I was still unfulfilled.”

In the lengthy post, the 25-year-old wrote, “I went from a 13-year-old boy in a small town to being praised left and right by the world, with millions saying how they loved me and how great I was … You hear these things enough as a young boy and you actually start believing [them].”

His post reflected his mental and physical struggles caused by growing up in an unstable environment and having access to things he wanted.

The post also reflected his ups and downs from being a celebrity, which led him to take up drugs at the age of 19. He wrote, “Doing pretty heavy drugs at 19 and [abusing] all of my relationships… became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me and I was hiding behind a shell of a person that I had become.”

Bieber continued, “By 20, I made every bad decision you could have thought of and went from one of the most loved and adored people in the world to the most ridiculed, judged, and hated person in the world.”

The “Sorry” singer wrote, “Everyone did everything for me so I never even learned the fundamentals of responsibility.”

Giving credit to his friends and his wife Hailey Baldwin for helping him move forward, Bieber wrote, “Luckily, God blessed me with extraordinary people who love me for me. Now I am navigating the best season of my life ‘MARRIAGE’!! Which is an amazing, crazy, new responsibility. You learn patience, trust, commitment, kindness, humility, and all of the things it looks like to be a good man.” At the end of the post, he wrote, “All this to say even when the odds are against you, keep fighting. Jesus loves you. Be kind today, be bold today and love people today, not by your standards but by God’s perfect unfailing love.”
