After hottest Thursday, Friday will be cooler but people will face travel disruption.

Weather is crazy in UK nowadays as heat wave is at its peak. Thursday was the hottest day of Cambridge in July recorded with the 38.1C (100.6F). Temperatures are cooling down after a record breaking warm day. Still people are facing traveling issues as there are cancellations and delays in UK trains.

Rail’s services director Nick King said thundery downpours overnight – bringing the risk of flash flooding and power cuts – could make this morning’s rush hour equally challenging.

He further added: “Our teams have been working flat out to fix the issues, however we are sorry that disruption is likely to continue into the morning.

People are advised to check trail inquiry websites or train operators before leaving the home. On Friday, Most affected operators will be Stansted and Greater Anglia services. There might be delays till Mid-day.

Flights are also getting affected from London airports because of thunderstorms, said British Airways. A warning issued in Scotland and England for thunderstorms.

If reports to be believed, people are facing health issues too because because of hot temperature. People are fainting down at railway stations as they are not able to reach home on time and waiting time is huge at stations.
