Will you really sue your personal trainer for making you work out rigorously hard? Well, that is what Amy Schumer has done with her personal trainer.

The comedian, on her latest episode of 3 Girls, 1 Keith, revealed that she had her lawyer draft a “cease and desist” letter to her personal trainer, AJ Fisher, who made her undergo intense workout sessions.

Many would have thought that Schumer is kidding but no, she wasn’t. In fact, the 38-year-old shared the photo of the real cease and desist letter on her Instagram account, which has gone viral.

The letter reads, “It has come to our attention that while Ms. Schumer has engaged you to perform simple physical training for her, you have instead forced Ms. Schumer to perform extreme and unduly punishing physical exercise well outside the bounds of normal physical training.”

“Indeed Ms. Schumer has been unable to perform simple daily tasks like walking and picking up her child as a result of such exercise.”

And then comes the official warning, “Your blatant disregard of Ms. Schumer’s physical well-being can only be interpreted as a deliberate effort to cause Ms. Schumer emotional distress, potential physical injury and lost revenue. It may even be determined to be a violation of her human rights.”

The letter demands Fisher to immediately “cease and desist such torment” of Ms. Schumer and “modify your personal training sessions to ease such pain and suffering.”

The mother-of-one asked her lawyer, “Was this a wasteful use of resource?” And later continued, “Very very much so but it brought me so much joy.”

Well, the whole thing was just a prank and the letter was shared for good fun. In fact, Schumer mentioned in the caption, “Fisher is an amazing trainer and is the reason I feel strong and good and have recovered from my herniated discs and c section.” As far as Fisher is concerned, Schumer’s actual cease and desist letter did not seem to upset her. Responding to Schumer’s post, Fisher wrote it might just be the “best quasi-testimonial” she has ever received.
