Actress Chrishell Stause has recently shared how she stayed productive during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said she redesigned her home during the ongoing pandemic, which kept her busy.

The Dancing With the Stars actress told Health, “I love that you can do online shopping. I redesigned my house with a tape measure and Internet WiFi.”

Stause, who is also known for her role on the Netflix reality show Selling Sunset, said redesigning her home was not her to-do list before the pandemic hit last March.

However, she decided to remodel it since she had plenty of time to work on redesigning details during quarantine. A more comfy couch, natural light, and candles in her fireplace are among the cozy, personalized changes she made, according to Health.

Stause said, “I didn’t personally feel like the pieces [before the redesign] reflected my personality the way they do now. Looking at the space, ‘I’m thinking, why didn’t I do this sooner?’”

The 39-year-old actress said she discovered functional spaces in her house that she could take advantage of while remodeling.

She explained, “It’s just given me use of more spaces I didn’t use before. Just the tiniest changeups can make a huge difference.”

She said redesigning her home helped her remember that the COVID-19 pandemic will not last forever.

“Because we have all been secluded, it’s almost me playing out that I can’t wait until I can entertain again,” Stause said.

“I’m taking this time to get it ready,” she added. “That’s the first thing I can’t wait to do: entertain.” The story appeared on Health.
