Many people may beat jet lag by taking an afternoon’s nap, while some may stay awake for an extended time. But, Dwayne Johnson, aka “The Rock,” beats jet lag by hitting the gym.

The former wrestler, who is presently on a press tour, posted some tips for others who fly frequently on Instagram.

“No matter how many hours I’ve flown, no matter how many miles I’ve traveled, regardless of what country it is, the first thing I need to do to get ready for the workday is I gotta find the gym,” he mentions in his latest video.

“I need to find my local Iron Paradise. This, working out every day, is my anchor. Life is so crazy and busy for me, and you guys too, like we’re on this treadmill that just doesn’t stop and continues to go, so I do need working out to anchor my day. It helps me balance myself.”

“It drives your system to adjust to the local time zones, combats jet lag and helps balance and anchor you so you can start your workday with great productivity and value.”

Locating a gym is not an excuse. The Hercules actor relocates his gym wherever he travels. His latest flick, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw has been a great success at the box office.
