On Thursday, Kevin Hart gave his followers an update about his road to recovery from a back surgery that he had to underwent after a car crash in September.

The 40-year-old comedian shared a video clip on Instagram in which he is seen training with a coach, boosting his boxing skills.

He captioned the post, “It’s all coming back.…slowly but surely. Patience is whats most important at this point. Is it easy? Absolutely not….but I’m loving every minute of it. The journey to becoming a greater me continues,” with hashtags #HustleHart #FableticsMen #VitaHustle.

The Jumanji star dedicated several months to his recovery after undergoing emergency back surgery following his car crash.

Hart received praise from his followers who cheered him on in the comments section.

On September 1, Hart’s car lost control and crashed through wooden fencing on Mulholland Highway in Malibu. The car crashed about 10 feet off the road and into a ditch, leaving Hart with major back injuries.

Earlier this month, the actor revealed his experience recovering from the crash to Men’s Health.

“The hardest part is slowing down and being patient,” he said. “I’m telling Dr. Pat and Boss that I want to do two-a-days at the gym. And they’re like, ‘Sit your stupid ass down and be patient. You gotta heal.’ I get that now.”
