According to Metro, Lily Allen announced at England’s Port Eliot Festival that she is making her own line of sex toys.
The 34-year-old pop star, however, did not share more details about her plan to enter the sex toy market. She told the crowd, “I probably shouldn’t talk about it. I haven’t done a press release or anything like that.”
The Smile singer continued, “Orgasms are important, ladies, and I feel like the celeb sex toy market hasn’t been capitalized upon.”
The pop star’s revelation follows that of her fellow British singer, Mel B, announced last month that she is launching a line of sex toys for women. Mel B’s sex toys will be specifically catering to the British market, which will be more affordable than Goop Sex Toys launched by Gwyneth Paltrow.
This is not the first time Allen talked about sex. The songwriter, in her book My Thoughts Exactly, revealed that she had sex with her father’s friend who was just 19 years, when she was only 14. She was quite afraid to tell this to her father, Keith Allen, who, however, reportedly joked about it with his friends. In the same book, she also revealed about sleeping with female escorts while on tour in 2014. She wrote on her Instagram account, “I was lost and lonely and looking for something. I’m not proud, but I’m not ashamed. I don’t do it anymore.”
