Simone Arianne Biles, the American gymnast, has earned the top spot in the history after her impressive medal collection. She is now the most decorated gymnast in world championships history (men and women), earning 25 medals.

According to USA Gymnastics, Biles earned her 23rd, 24th, and 25th medals at the World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, last week.

The previous record was 23 medals, which was set by Vitaly Scherbo, a Belarusian gymnast, in 1996.

She earned her latest gold medals with a score of 15.3999 in vault and 15.133 in floor routine. She landed the “Biles II Triple-Double,” a move that will be named after her, which includes two flips and three twists in the air. And then she scored 15.066 in the balance beam event and picked up her record-breaking 25th medal in the world championship history.

Congratulating the 22-year-old on her latest achievements, her boyfriend Stacy Ervin Jr. paid a tribute on Instagram and wrote, “MY WOMAN IS A 5x WORLD CHAMPION IN THE ALL-AROUND & I COULDN’T BE MORE PROUD.”

“I get hyped every time I watch her do her thing & today was no exception. Congratulation, babe! The whole world is proud of you!” added Ervin Jr.

In 2016, Biles became the first American gymnast to win four gold medals at Olympics. She also became the first gymnast to earn three world championship medals consecutively.

She also became the first U.S. gymnast to land a “double-double dismount” from the balance beam, which includes two somersaults and two twists in the air. The move is now called “Biles.” She was asked about the impending party that her mom is supposed to throw after her World Championship wins, Biles replied that anyone who experiences “JOMO” will fully understand. She said, “Sometimes it’s just…it’s just like, I’m tired. I just want to lay in bed,” according to the Olympic Channel.
