Most countries, including Italy, are on the verge of lockdown due to growing concerns over the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, which has affected 121,175 and killed 4,377 people so far.
However, Joe Giudice, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, claims that Viagra is much more dangerous than the coronavirus, a.k.a. COVID-19.
Yesterday, he posted a video on Instagram and captioned, “More people die from Viagra (heart attacks and drug overdose) everyday than this Corona virus 🦠.”
“People here are frantic because government is ridiculous with 🔒down !!!! Sorry Lock down not for me Never again !!!!!,” he added, referring to his prison stint for over 40 months.
Giudice cautioned, “Stay safe 🌎 eat healthy, exercise, and no shaking and 🧼 👏! #coronavirus #staysafeoutthere #lockdownnotcool #awarenessiskey #washhands.”
In the video, the 47-year-old turned the camera to his Italian neighborhood and said the streets currently resemble a “ghost town.” Italy has so far reported 10,149 confirmed cases and 631 deaths.
He said, “Literally nobody out because of this stupid coronavirus. It’s, like, ridiculous. People are so scared, unbelievable. Grow a set of cojones. Jesus, this is ridiculous.”
Giudice, who was sent back to his native Italy last year, is awaiting a final decision in his deportation case.
Viagra is a blockbuster drug prescribed to men who suffer from erectile dysfunction, a sexual condition in which it becomes difficult to attain and sustain an erection.
Currently, there is not much data on the death toll caused by Viagra. Psychology Today had reported that Viagra killed more than 1,800 people from 1998 to 2007. On the other hand, COVID-19 has killed more than 4,300 people since the outbreak began in December in Wuhan, a city in China.
