Wilko, a British high-street chain, has been selling the Little Blue Pill, named after Viagra, for £3 for 10 pills to both men and woman.
The libido-boosting pills should be taken an hour before sexual activity and for the desired results, the full packet should be taken over the course of 10 days, according to the makers.
Healthpoint, the manufacturer of the Little Blue Pill, said, “Ideal for all adult men. Some women enjoy taking the little blue pill as well.”
The pills contain Korean ginseng, zinc, and vitamin C, which are said to boost testosterone and help reduce fatigue.
The Healthpoint’s Little Blue Pill can be found in the Wilko’s “Adult Section” that also contains lubricants and condoms.
Marketed as a natural version of Viagra, these pills are available over-the-counter for £20 for four pills.
Budget rival Poundland has been selling sex toys and sex pills at £1. It released a £1 bullet vibrator, which was an instant hit.
The sex pills sold by Poundland come in two varieties: blue pills for men and pink pills for women.
For men, the pill package says, “Take two of these energy-enhancing pills 40 minutes before playtime to stay strong and enjoy longer.”
For women, the pill package says, “Pop two pills before playtime and say hello to fun times.”
However, both blue and pink pill packages come with a warning that mentions consulting a doctor before using them.
The Poundland £1 vibrator has given buyers a 90 percent saving when compared with high street sex shops.
